Living in Warner, NH

Mount Kearsarge, at 2,937 feet, rises in the extreme north of Warner, and a paved road climbs from Rollins State Park to within half a mile of its bare, rocky summit. The peak is the high point of the 75-mile Sunapee-Ragged-Kearsarge Greenway. The Warner River flows past the center of town, spanned by the Dalton and Waterloo covered bridges, and Amey Brook and Warner Brook drain the southwest. Warner grew as a farming town producing meats, dairy goods, hay and apples, with mills along the river. Each Columbus Day weekend the Fall Foliage Festival draws visitors from around New England, and the Warner Area Farmers' Market meets on Saturday mornings on Main Street. Interstate 89 and Route 103 serve the town, and Routes 114 and 127 cross its southwestern and southeastern corners.
