Welcome to Hudson

Hudson sits in southeastern Hillsborough County along the Massachusetts state line, directly across the Merrimack River from Nashua. Its village grew up where Routes 3A, 102 and 111 meet near the river, and the town now reaches east toward Windham and Londonderry. Hudson NH real estate takes in two historic centers, Hudson Village and Hudson Center, plus neighborhoods along Lowell Road, Derry Road and Central Street, with Benson Park and two recreational ponds inside town lines.

Living in Hudson, NH

Hudson Village, on the Merrimack River at the western edge of town, holds the Town Hall, the Town Common at Derry, Ferry and Library streets, and the stone Hills Memorial Library, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Hills House on Derry Road, also on the National Register, is home to the Hudson Historical Society and hosts the Old Home Days fair. Hudson Center, at the five-way junction of Central Street, Greeley Street, Kimball Hill Road and Windham Road, has Greeley Field. The former Benson's Wild Animal Farm reopened in 2010 as Benson Park, a free town park with trails, ponds, dog parks and the state's largest 9/11 memorial. Robinson Pond has a public beach and boat ramp, Otternic Pond has the Claveau Landing boat launch, and Musquash Pond is a bird sanctuary. The Rodgers Memorial Library is on Route 102, and Hudson Speedway and the Whip-Poor-Will Golf Club are near Route 102 too.
